Our History
In 1959, the late M.S. Fernando , Founder of Simon Fernando & Co., embarked on a mission of success. With unwavering determination, he initiated the privatization of the company in 1979. As a family man, he renamed it M.S. Fernando & Sons (Pte) Ltd., marking a new chapter of legacy.
With over 40 years of experience, this family has skillfully operated the company, integrating a diverse range of value-added operations spanning Europe and Asia.
Our expertise encompasses ship management, general trading, import/export of commodities and project consultation.
During the tumultuous 1980s and 1990s, our company weathered numerous financial crisis, including the fallout from the break-up of Eastern Europe. Despite these challenges, we remained resilient and continued to navigate the volatile economic landscape.
